365 Poems in 365 Days: I Blame Baz Luhrman

Hey sister, go sister
Thinking on the Moulin Rouge
I’ve never been there mister
I’m told it’s pretty huge

Number 275 is based on this piece I wrote in class based on a picture of the Moulin Rouge. I'm quoting Lady Marmalade because of the 2001 film.

It's a red windmill which is a strange place to put a strip club. I assume they took the machinary out. It became notorious during the belle epoque, time before the Great War, but this picture is later from the vehicles. Paris at midnight?
